Pigs of Pai Cow: The Truth About Their Welfare
One of my favorite martial arts movies of all time is Pai Cow: The Japanese Take Away. I had been thinking about this movie while reading Michael Chiklis's new novel, A FEAST OF MELTERING, a tale of a robot that has to save the World. The plot synopsis is as follows: robot and send in the SWAT team.
SWAT team arrives just in time to rescue the police officer. The two cowboys have been identified as suspects. The authorities find and arrest them. The cows are sent to prison.
A year later, a young Pai boy is walking on the beach when he sees two cows grazing on the sand. One cow is tied up. The little boy picks some grass and goes to assist the attached cow. He finds out that the cows have been executed.
He then witnesses the police ruining the gatecrasher robot. One of the police officers attempts to take the young boy, but misses. Another police officer manages to kill the bunny. In addition, he injures among the cows.
Police Chief Te Fong tells the press that the police did not shoot the cows. Police officers were investigating a report of drug activity near the shore. Both cows were only in the way of the investigation. 1 cow was shot multiple times. Police Chief Te Fong calls them terrorists.
Police Chief Te Fong orders the SWAT team to seal the beach entrance. He then sends all of the school children home. He tells the children that the cows are now extinct. The regional media shortly reports that the cows have been extinct for over twenty years. The local farmers claim that the police and the media are lying.
The President of the Philippines goes to Vietnam. He inspects the village. He guarantees the farmers that the government will help restore the property. Two weeks later, President Krostadze visited the Pai. President Krostadze met with the Pai individuals and they explained to President Peacock that the cows were just there as a protection for the other herbivores.
The North Vietnamese Army came to steal the herd. Two Chinese motorcycle taxis were parked close to the location. The pigs flew away when the cab tried to pick them up. One of the actors accidentally slipped on a piece of dynamite and was killed. Both Chinese cops guarding the region known as the SWAT team.
The SWAT team came just in time to save the herd. They shot and killed one of those pigs. The remaining pigs ran away into the jungle.
There's absolutely no evidence of the rest of the pigs. The actors' remains were not found. A little town named Saanen was established around the region. There have been rumors of bloodbath though.
Many cowboys from the nearby pasture swear the beans were already dead when they arrived. The Police Chief believes otherwise. He believes the beans were eaten alive by the hungry pigs who were looking for their next meal. Typically, cowboys take the pigs and eat them.
It's said that the Pai Police Department is looking into possible charges of Animal Cruelty. The Police Chief wouldn't say if they are investigating the incident. In case you have any more info, email me. I would like to hear what you know.
The Pai Police Department has been working with the City of Pai, Idaho for quite some time. The Police have been keeping the herd safe. They've posted warnings about the trespassers in the region. The herd has been cared for by law enforcement and the local wildlife and parks services. 1 rancher said the beans' natural prey animals, like deer, elk, and moose, do not need the pigs on their land.
The Police Chief says that the herd is doing well and there's absolutely not any danger to the community. The herd will be moved to a facility in Idaho once it is safe to move them. This will be the second such event this rancher has witnessed. The former group of pigs became angry and struggled with the regional farmers and law enforcement.
Hopefully, this story will end the speculations and rumors that have been surrounding the Pigs of Pai. I have heard some disturbing accounts of how the pigs are treated. I also know of one pig who was electrocuted on purpose because he had been walking near electric wires. I think the public needs to find out more about these magnificent creatures before they make a poor choice to shoot one up.
How to Create a Boule
A French boule is a very old favorite bread recipe using an extremely long history that seems to only grow older with every passing day. It may vary in sizes from large loaves to small squares, but most often it is generally on the larger side of ordinary bread. A typical boule is made up of flour, butter, yeast, milk, and water. A traditional recipe calls for unsalted butter and a lot of water to create a thick, spreadable paste.
As time went by, the notion of using yeast to make bread became popular, but not in every area. The yeast wasn't just used to make bread, but to create cakes and pastries and other dessert items also. As a result of this, the French developed what's known as baker's yeast, which was slightly less potent and therefore easier to use. In addition, the baker's yeast was more costly than the normal yeast.
By the time the Industrial Revolution arrived, the French Boule had fallen out of favor. The major reason being that it was more expensive to process breads, in addition to the way of making boules was becoming more costly as well. At this time, the French began using their Levain bread recipes and, with time, the prevalence of the standard bread recipe only died off. This is unfortunate since, although the French Boule has become a bit of a throw-away item in the past few years, it is one of the best bread recipes in existence, and far superior to the store bought variety.
The easy, basic bread that we know and love so much today began its rise in popularity in the Middle Ages. Called"boule de noirs", or"dough of noir", the bread makers of those times were using an egg mix, water, and yeast. No longer are we using the yeast that is in the dough. This simpler procedure provides us with a fantastic flavor in our breads and makes for easy cleanup. In addition, we have flaxseed oil, which has proven beneficial in keeping bread fresh.
As mentioned, initially the French used what was called"baguettes" or"small loafers". These were very thin loafers, nearly microscopic, made of soft dough that could be used for making both breads and baguettes. For example, rather than working with a traditional round loaf of bread, bakers would work with a much thinner French baguette. In fact, one of the most beloved pastry cooks of all time could make French baguettes and use them for everything from bread to scones to pies! Yes, they still inhale, even in this electronic age.
The distinction between a baguette and a French bread is that a baguette is typically made from hard wheat flour, not a soft wheat like the French bread. A baguette is typically stored on a hot griddle until it's done baking, which gives it quite a light crunch. French bread is baked in the oven or place under the oven's broiler until the bottom is golden brown and the top is crispy. This is because the baguette is typically made from hard wheat flour rather than soft flour, thus allowing the dough to have a crunchier crust.
There are a few things to keep in mind if you would like to learn how to bake a French boule. First, it is important to remember that each sort of French bread has very specific instructions for baking, so if you don't follow these directions exactly, you are going to discover that your homemade polish will turn out level and less than spectacular. In addition, each type of bread contains different flavors, and while boule d'or can be used to replace traditional flavors (like lemon zest), you may not enjoy the taste profile of a fruit-flavored poolish unless it is strictly adhering to the particular flavor profile of the type of bread which you are baking. As soon as you've your bread made, you will need to learn how to bake a French boule by combining the dough with a very simple cooking method. The trick to this cooking method is not to over-beat the egg white. Instead, you should beat the egg white to begin with and then add the egg yolk into the mixture to start with the extending and rolling of the dough.
Fan Tan, or fancan is an ancient gambling card game long common in China. Like many card games it's purely random and involves opportunity. The foundation for Fan Tan is the four suit of sun, moon, rain and wind, which represents the four elements and their ruling seasons. Each player contributes to his/her own pool of points by choosing cards from the deck. The participant with the most points at the end wins. It was in ancient times that the player could buy more cards at a low rate and get extra cards to exchange for money.
Lots of the early versions of fan-tan involved simple bluffing in addition to some strategy. However, the sport has changed tremendously over the years and the rules have been slightly altered to make it even more enjoyable. Currently there are lots of different variants of fan-tan. Below is a list and explanation of all these variations:
Among the oldest forms of the game is that the"artments". In this version each player is dealt a hand composed of seven cards face down. The aim is for each player to construct five piles (two piles from each player's hand and one pile from the dealer's hand). Then, after everyone has made five stacks, the dealer will then deal five cards to each player. At this time, the only way for a player to win is if he has gone five stacks without going anywhere else to do it and then back to the initial five card pile before the dealer leaves the table.
The"order" variation of the game is the easiest. Additionally it is called the"table game". In this variation, the player who has raised the maximum hands wins. There is no playing time allotted and the play may go on until somebody gets three pairs, a tuck, or a straight. After the last player leaves the table, the match is over and it is time for another round of playing.
A variation on the"order" game involves getting three pairs, a double, or a full house before the participant has to leave. In this version, there is still no participant clock. A participant must get three pairs, a complete house, or three straight, four or even five teases before the player has to leave. If a participant fails to appear for the mandatory exit, his team loses and that team's next chance at a win would be the drawing of a new hand. The new hand will be a straight or a flush, depending on the last hand and which player failed to appear.
Fan Tan incorporates many of the normal rules of poker including the bluffing rule. Bluffing lets you fake an injury in order to get your opponent to fold to you. You should have the correct odds if you're going to succeed at this, so be sure to use proper form and stance and never reveal your cards prematurely. You should avoid drawing additional cards or ending your turn with a high card if you're bluffing.
At the end of the match, the player with the most pairs, the highest total hands, and the top scoring card win the game. If two players tie for last place, then whoever gets the highest chips wins. The failure simply loses his top and can not take part in the next games. There are usually only a few decks out there in a tournament and those decks cost a lot more than regular decks. If you are serious about winning some money off of your friends, then you need to try getting into a monthly game.
While poker rules don't prohibit someone from betting, the major thing that they need to remember is they need to disclose their capacity to gamble. This is quite important, especially if the fan is a relative or a close friend. People need to realize that if they're seen to be engaging in a game of skill, then it won't matter that they are also in a tan. If they want to participate in a poker tournament, then they will have to disclose their livelihood.
